Refund & Return Policy

At Rooted Refill Co., we want you to love your sustainable products. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help you find a solution that’s kind to you and the planet.

1. Returns Period

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition you received them.

  • In the original packaging (we encourage you to reuse our shipping boxes!).

2. Non-Returnable Items

To reduce waste and ensure hygiene, certain items cannot be returned:

  • Personal Care Products: Items like bamboo toothbrushes, solid shampoos, or skincare (if opened).

  • Final Sale Items: Anything marked as "Clearance" or "Final Sale."

  • Digital Gift Cards.

3. How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at [Email Address] with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Once approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address.

  3. Eco-Tip: Please use a trackable shipping service. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email.

  • Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Unless the item arrived damaged, customers are responsible for return shipping costs to minimize the carbon footprint of unnecessary transport.

5. Damages and Issues

If your order arrives damaged or if you received the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will make it right immediately by sending a replacement or issuing a full refund at no extra cost to you.

6. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item.
