At Rooted Refill Co., we take pride in offering sustainable, low-waste products and carefully curated goods. Due to the nature of our products, we have the following return and refund policy in place.
1. Refill & Personal Care Products
All sales of refillable goods, bulk products, and personal care items are final sale.
This includes, but is not limited to:

• Liquid refills (soaps, cleaners, detergents)

• Powders and bulk goods

• Shampoo and conditioner bars

• Toothpaste tablets and similar hygiene products

For health, safety, and contamination reasons, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on these items once they have been dispensed or opened.
2. Allergies & Sensitivities
Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information prior to purchase.
We are happy to:

• Provide ingredient lists

• Answer questions

• Offer recommendations

However, we do not offer refunds or exchanges due to allergic reactions, sensitivities, or personal preference.
3. Retail Merchandise (Non-Consumable Items)
Returns may be accepted on non-consumable retail items (such as containers, accessories, or unopened goods) under the following conditions:

• Item must be unused and in original condition & packagin

• Return must be made within 7 days of purchase

• Receipt is required

Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment or as store credit at our discretion.
4. Consignment & Vendor Items 
Items sold on behalf of vendors are final sale.
We do not accept returns or issue refunds on:

• Consignment items

• Vendor booth purchases

• Vintage or secondhand goods

These items are sold “as-is,” and we encourage customers to inspect them carefully before purchasing.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 3 days of purchase.
We will review the issue and may offer:

• Replacement (if available)

• Store credit

6. Online Orders & Local Pickup
For online purchases with local pickup:

• Orders must be picked up within 7 days unless otherwise arranged

• If an order is not picked up, it may be restocked and refunded as store credit

Shipping returns (if offered in the future) must be approved prior to return.
